Omega Centauri (NGC 5139) is the most massive globular cluster in our galaxy, 16.000 lightyears away in the constellation Centaurus. The cluster is made of 10 million stars and has a black hole in its center, leading to the assumption that it is the remaining core of a dwarf galaxy that was absorbed by the Milky Way.
